The program aims to implement efficient and sustainable actions in agricultural areas and conservation units, including La Prosperina Protected Forest, through an ecosystem-based management (EBM) model. These actions seek to improve the quality of life of the communities that depend on these ecosystems by addressing environmental, social, and economic dimensions.
The program also seeks to contribute to the sustainability of La Prosperina Protected Forest through a living lab model by implementing educational and recreational activities within the forest. It promotes the creation of learning environments focused on environmental education and the development of sustainable educational and recreational activities. In addition, it encourages the adoption of agroecological practices in agricultural areas by strengthening agro-productive capacities for food production.
